Independent wall linings, dot and dab, sound rated and fire rated wall systems installed to the tested specification on commercial and public sector projects across the UK. The linings are the part of the building the client never sees again, so RWS builds them to the certificate and hands over the paperwork to prove it.

Metal frame linings to masonry, concrete and steel, with the cavity and insulation set out to the drawing for thermal, acoustic and service zone requirements.
Acoustic partitions and linings built with the board layers, insulation and sealing the tested system needs, so the wall meets the decibel figure in the specification.
Rated systems installed to the manufacturer's certificate, with head details and abutments finished the way the test evidence requires, then handed to our passive fire team for the penetrations.
Pattresses, framing for heavy fixings and service voids built into the lining as it goes up, so the following trades have something solid to fix to.
A partition is a free standing wall dividing two spaces. A lining is a framed or bonded board finish applied to an existing wall, usually to carry insulation, hide services or improve the acoustic performance. RWS installs both, often on the same job.
Yes. Sound rated partitions and linings are built to the tested system, and the detail that matters most is the sealing at the head, the base and the abutments. A wall with the right boards and a gap at the top does not meet its rating, so the sealing is part of the package.
The wall is built to the manufacturer's tested system and the certificate for that system is provided at handover. Where services pass through it, our passive fire team seals the penetrations, labels them and photographs them for the record.
Yes. Linings to existing masonry and concrete are a regular part of refurbishment and conversion work, and the setting out deals with the fact that an old wall is rarely straight or plumb.
Yes. The package is supply and fix, with the board, insulation and fixings specified to the system and delivered to the programme.
