Metal frame plasterboard ceilings, suspended grid and tile, acoustic rafts and baffles, and the fire rated and specialist ceilings that showrooms, cinemas, schools and healthcare units call for. RWS installs ceiling packages for main contractors across the UK, set out from the reflected ceiling plan and coordinated with the services above.

Metal frame ceilings set out level, boarded to the specification and finished ready for decoration, with bulkheads, upstands, shadow gaps and access panels built in.
Exposed and concealed grid systems with mineral, metal and acoustic tiles, set out to the reflected ceiling plan so the lights, grilles and detectors land where the drawing says.
Acoustic rafts, baffles, feature bulkheads and specialist finishes, including the black out and feature ceilings used in cinema and leisure fit outs.
Where the ceiling forms part of the fire strategy, the rated system is installed to its certificate and the void above is divided by cavity barriers before the grid closes it.
MF plasterboard ceilings, suspended grid and tile, acoustic rafts and baffles, feature and fire rated systems. The system comes from the specification and the reflected ceiling plan, and we set out from the plan so the services integrate rather than fight the grid.
Always. The ceiling is where every service ends up visible, so we work from the coordinated reflected ceiling plan and agree the setting out with the M and E contractor before the grid goes up.
Yes. Cinema foyers and screens, car showrooms, family entertainment centres and retail stores are a large part of the recent work, and the photographs on this site are from those jobs.
Yes. The ceiling line across a showroom is set from a laser datum and checked as the grid goes in, which is why the line stays dead level the whole way across the floor rather than following the slab.
Our own passive fire team. The barriers go in before the ceiling closes the void and are photographed while there is still access, which is much easier when the ceiling contractor and the fire contractor are the same company.
